Gelt Program

The P.O. is pleased to introduce the gift card "Gelt program" to our families. Faculty and staff who buy Gelt will help to support programs provided for the school by the P.O. This program is designed to help families earn money toward their children's junior year Panim program and/or the Senior Israel Experience. The program is a passive earning system, in which you buy the things you ordinarily purchase anyway and earn money which will be credited to your family for designated school trips. If you have any questions, contact Kim Frankel 847.373.1183 kfrankel0721@gmail.com or Sarah Budweg 847.710.1740 sbudweg13@aol.com.

Go Tigers!

BasketballWay to go, freshmen! The men's freshman basketball team beat St. Martin De Porres 41-17, with powerhouse birthday boy Josh Wolf scoring 12 points. Tiger fans everywhere hope other basketball players continue to deliver amazing plays in honor of their birthdays! Go Tigers, and happy birthday, Josh!

Basketball

DreifussThe women's basketball team headed into the playoffs this week for the Chicago Prep Conference Tournament. After an amazing 1-1 season, our Lady Tigers triumphed over Our Lady of Tepeyac 38-20. Continuing her run of high scores, Caroline Dreifuss scored 18 points in this post-season game, bringing her well over 100 points for this season. A loss to CICS Ellison 53-28 prevented the Lady Tigers from bringing home a somewhat flashier conference trophy, but we congratulate our girls on a Woot!phenomenal season and wish them luck in the IHSA Regionals! The Lady Tigers take on Elgin Academy next Monday, at 7:30 p.m. at Westminster Christian High School. Tickets are $4 for anyone wishing to attend.

Basketball

#32The men's sophomore basketball team also won a conference game this week, defeating Holy Trinity in the first round. It was an honor to lose our conference spot to the Skokie Yeshiva, who advanced in the post-season over both our sophomore and varsity teams this week. Despite this setback, the men's varsity and sophomore teams sprang forward to avenge our defeat at the hands of CICS Ellison on Thursday, emerging victorious with a score of 54-46. The unstoppable Jake Newlander led all scorers with 18 points. Go Tigers, and good luck next week against Vernon Hills!
