CJHS celebrates Pioneer Class

They davened together as they did every day. And then to recreate a memory from their freshmen year Bible class, the CJHS pioneer class went around the circle for one last 'Good and Welfare.' They lit candles and spoke of their memories of CJHS. Some of the memories were fond, some were difficult, but almost of them were filled with laughter. Members of the class of 2005 spoke of Shabbatonim, funny experiences during class, teachers who affected their lives, classes that allowed them to be young articulate adults, but mostly they spoke of the everlasting friendships that they have made at CJHS.

The class of 2005 would wholeheartedly agree that the experiment, the risk of attending the new high school, was well worth the uncertainty that they felt before their first day of freshmen year.

And they can leave feeling proud of their achievements, their accomplishments, and their legacy that will forever remain a tribute to these chalutzim.

From everyone at CJHS congratulations to the class of 2005.
