CJHS to present $500
tuition credit to B'nai Mitzvah toward freshman year at CJHS
The CJHS Board of Directors has
approved a special award for Bar and Bat Mitzvah students toward tuition
at CJHS. Each b'nai mitzvah from a Conservative synagogue will receive
a $500 credit toward tuition during his/her freshman year at CJHS. The
award is available to all B'nai mitzvah, whether they are presently enrolled
in Jewish day school or public school. Rabbis will be presenting the award
certificate from the bima to the Bar or Bat Mitzvah child, which will
not only maximize impact, but will also help promote Conservative Day
School education to families with young children. Families must apply
by the December 15 early decision deadline during their child's eighth
grade year in order to be eligible for the award. The credit is also available
to those applicants coming from non-Conservative communities as long as
their application is received by the early decision deadline.
