Athletics

CJHS offers an outstanding athletic program that has expanded each year to address the diverse interests and talents of our students. Our extracurricular athletic program is an important part of the school’s total educational system. It contributes to students’ physical well-being, helps to build a sense of community among team players, and promotes school spirit. Since CJHS teams compete against a wide variety of schools, student athletes frequently develop a greater awareness of racial, ethnic, and religious diversity.

CJHS currently fields a wide range of interscholastic athletic teams. Fall sports include women’s tennis, men’s golf, men's soccer, and coed cross country. In the winter we offer women’s basketball, men’s JV basketball, men’s varsity basketball, coed bowling, and coed swimming. The spring season features women’s soccer, women’s badminton, men’s tennis, and coed Ultimate Frisbee. Each team is coached by experienced professionals who are excellent athletes, and teams compete in a full season of games, matches, and meets.
